Reibey, Thomas, 1821-1912

Thomas Reibey, a grandson of Mary Reibey was born in Tasmania and educated in England. He was admitted to Anglican Orders in 1843 by Francis Nixon, Bishop of Tasmania. In 1870 after a disagreement with Bishop C. H. Bromley he retired from active life in the Church. Reibey entered the Tasmanian House of Assembley in 1874 and returned in 1903.
